About Events

BCCDA  offers a range of training days, workshops, networking events and Webinars to support your professional development.

  • Training DaysWorkshops: Professional development events designed for individuals in career/employment counselling, employment, and rehabilitation. These events are usually available to BCCDA members at a reduced cost. Prospective members are welcome to attend. Pre-registration is required. Currently, most events are held in Metro Vancouver, but we are planning on branching out to other areas of BC in 2019.
  • Webinar: BCCDA offers its members monthly Webinars. They are usually held every second Wednesday of the month. Members can easily access our Webinars at no cost or at a reduced rate.
  • CDC Conference: Historically, the BC Career Development Conference has been a highly successful event generously filled with quality content as presented by top careerists from Canada, the United States, and other parts of the world. This is BC’s largest annual event devoted to the career development / management field and it will give participants the space to exchange ideas, discover new opportunities, reacquaint with colleagues, meet new friends, and broaden their knowledge. Each year, the conference bring together more than 450 career practitioners, settlement professionals, education providers, community service agencies and industry leaders from across BC. BCCDA members and CCDP holders can attend the conference at a discounted rate.
  • Luncheons, Networking Events: These are opportunities for job seekers and employers to meet, connect, and network. Come join us to learn more about the career development field and to discuss your talents, skills, experience, and education with potential employers.
